I think Stokes has just signed for Charlton for �£2.7m. It just goes to show how far behind we are when a club in crisis like Charlton can spend nearly 3m on an unproven quantity (at premiership level anyway)

Havent heard anything about Stokes going to Charlton though. As far as I was aware he would either be staying at Falkirk till end of season or going to Celtic......

Just logging on for the first time since PLG departure (been travelling back) and the first thing that came to me was how much will PLG get paid for leaving?

 

If i remember correct he was on 1.4 million a season and on a 2/3 yr deal so he'll get a couple of million pay off anyway. Now why is murray content with paying this when it could have went straight into the team!

 

Im puzzled by it. Im sure i'll gte round to this topic eventually though on the other threads.

 

But I see the likes of Gow, Thompson being mentioned. They are a NO for me. Id take Brown and Webster and like to see Quashie and Koumas come in.
