Jim McColl upbeat on Rangers' future

Recommended Posts

Jim may take credit for the fan ownership idea but the fact is he ran a mile when his name was supposedly leaked.

Time will tell how interested he really is in investing in Rangers.

Anyone who tried to help the club, no matter whether they were unsuccessful or not, get's my thanks. Some did more than Jim MColl, but many did far less.

Those people, clubs and organisations, who actively tried to kill our club. will have my undying hatred, if the opportunity should arise in the future for some small measure of retribution, be sure my boot will firmly, rapidly and often be put into them.

Apart from any of the aforementioned scum, We as a club cannot afford to turn away any business men of Jim McColl abilities. I couldn't care less if he doesn't put a brass farthing into the club, his business acumen, connections and standing would be worth a fortune to the club .

No matter how well we get ourselves back on our feet, we can never "prosper" without something changing with regards to the disproportionate TV money to the larger countries. We voted to stay British but we're completely out in the cold and alone when it comes to our football. Even if we make a good fist of it and qualify for Europe we'll be struggling to compete financially with the bottom of the English Championship and probably the top of League One.

UEFA have negligently allowed European football to fester and rot outside the big 5.

Him speaking occasionally in the media about Rangers is of no benefit to us at all so it's hardly turning him away to say that he may as well not bother.

Any positive comments in the media, about our club is to be welcomed,. Especially from a man of J mccoll's standing, is a good counterweight to the incessant negative bullshit from the haters.

Spare me the stuff about his standing, he doesn't even pay tax in this country yet he campaigned to break it up.

I'll do fine without hearing from him unless he actually plans to make a proper contribution to the club

You don't know if he's planning to invest or get involved in the club? So by your reasoning a Rangers supporter's is not entitled to give their views on the club unless they have already put money into the club. Even less of a view if they're a Nationalist, no wonder we're in trouble with attitudes like that.
