Law,Clark,Templeton & Shiels are all out of contract at the end of the season & unlikely to get new deals.

Wouldn't be surprised if we were trying to move at least one of them out before the deadline now we've got King and O'Halloran in.

He might actually have been able to do a turn for us at Livingston if he scored against our closest title contenders.

 

Anyway, not to worry. We might still be needing his services ourselves depending on how lucky/unlucky we are with injuries and/or suspensions.

Livi still trying to get him AFAIK. Clark would be as well joining them. He's well down the pecking order at us now King & O'Halloran are here.

RANGERS signed Michael O’Halloran from St Johnstone today, so we’ve pulled together a few Fast Facts on Mark Warburton’s latest attacking weapon:

 

• Both of O’Halloran’s Bolton appearances came in cup competitions, and both were against Macclesfield in both the English FA Cup and League Cup.
  
• He already has a winner’s medal to his name after starting St Johnstone’s 2014 Scottish Cup Final victory against Dundee United.
  
• In 2012 he scored in a League One play-off final penalty shootout at Wembley for Sheffield United against Huddersfield. O’Halloran’s side failed to get promoted however as former ‘Gers goalkeeper Steve Simonsen missed the decisive kick after the shootout went all the way in sudden death.
  
• In 124 career appearances, O’Halloran has never once been shown a red card.
  
• O’Halloran has European experience under his belt, playing six times for St Johnstone in recent seasons, while he also netted in their away-goals 2-2 defeat to Alashkert this season.
  
• O’Halloran’s youth career began across town at Celtic before moving south to Bolton Wanderers.

Where is the blend of experience that the manager said he wanted? A wily old head showing the way in front of the back four would have left me feeling a lot more easy. We don't have a solid 'spine' as Souness would say. But hey ho the ride with Mr Warburton is far more enjoyable than that of previous years. Fasten your belts folks.
