Bearman 9 Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 McLauchlin whilst under a ban not so long ago 'dug-up' a couple of junkies portrayed as Rangers fans in an area with Ibrox Stadium just visible in the background who miraculously had an opinion on the Rangers story at the time. You wonder at what point the saner brains at the BBC, who probably almost all inhabit places south of Hadrian's Wall these days, start thinking that something is wrong in their Scotland branch? If one or two there would actually care to look what he says and what sort of stance he has on all things Rangers, they might actually spot the underlying problem of BBCeltland. Whether those individuals want the name of the BBC being continually besmirched further by Scrote and his ilk, who disregards even direct orders from the BBC Trust, is anyone's guess though. As long as the BBC is not under independent observation, I don't think anything will actually change. But there also seems to be that inbred self-defense button being pressed by other media outlets. For you cannot say a word against a fellow journalist, one of "their ilk", no matter what sort of rubbish he says or writes. The BBC is under concerted attack in the whole UK at present, both from groups who don't like it and especially from the UK government. They've lost about (from memory, could be wrong) 5,000 staff with lots more to go, are closing services hand over fist and are unlikely to see out the decade given the Conservative hegemony we're pretty much guaranteed thanks to Jeremy Corbyn winning the Labour leader's job. You being from Germany realise the British Broadcasting Company is a very useful means of news and what is going on in the world. The BBC have a very informative outlet for those wanting up-to-date 'honest' news so to speak and are a very trusted source throughout the world wherever you may be. BBC Scotland don't have that clout. Yes they are part of the organisation in regards to collecting Scottish peoples TV licence fees, but they have no other clout. If Scottish folk got together and refused to pay the fee it would drive the scum from those who abuse the BBC...namely the Irish Catholics....but up here in Scotland they think they've took over the BBC, they may have, but the British Broadcasting Company couldn't care less anyway...they still get their tv licence money off the Scottish folk. You must live on an another planet...stupid thing to come out with. Yes the regional sports department is ignored I'd agree with that, even the UK Government would as well? Just because we don't like their views however bias/misdirected they may be we should not be taking this kind of action. Whilst it is far more damaging having an organisation like the BBC publish one sided articles than the printed press with their diminishing audience, this act is something we should absolutely ever do.
