THE SPFL are to launch an investigation into alleged offensive singing by sections of the Celtic support during their team’s league clash with Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park on Friday, February 26. It is also believed that attention has been drawn to areas of potential overcrowding in the stand behind the goal, which housed much of the Celtic support. The delegate report is understood to point out that some fans with tickets elsewhere in that stand, abandoned their seats to congregate together elsewhere. Host club Accies and Police Scotland will be asked for their comments on those issues, while Celtic will be probed for answers on fan behaviour. Meanwhile, Celtic have announced they are to subsidise the cost of their fans’ tickets by £6 for the visit to Kilmarnock on Saturday. Are you saying rUK didn't have a budget deficit? Surely you have to qualify that figure or it's just meaningless? You do understand that a significant amount of Scotland's income is tied to the price of oil which goes up as well as down? Do you realise, Norway are also running a deficit for the same reason and are about to withdraw money from their "oil fund" to pay for it? Now why does't Scotland do that?
