Someone should have a quiet word with our manager.

But why would you? You can't put a serious statement out about a serial fantasist. And 'allegations'? I think sometimes we feel online that people like Phil make a bigger impact than they actually do. Very few people swallow his guff. I just wouldn't entertain it. Unless I'm told otherwise by Rangers or Warbs just doesn't turn up again, I don't believe a word of it, and neither should anyone else.

There are far more than a "very few people" believe his garbage mate. Guys like him, James, Brennan, McHugh and many others are drip feeding lies on a constant basis and have been doing so for years. The rubbish they post online carries over into pub conversations and before long becomes "fact". They are directly responsible for us becoming so toxic that I really do fear what is going to happen next season at away matches. Does what happened in the media following the cup final not give you some concern ?

The Rangers fans should have learned one thing from what's been going on - ignore nothing. We tried that and it didn't work. There is a very strong fans group waiting in the wings and I would expect them at the very least to address this. Rubbish or not it is affecting the Rangers brand - and that means you and me.

The constant attempts to destabilise the club should be laughed at but at some point the club will have to lay down a (legal) marker or they won't cease.

The problem is that by reacting you give them oxygen and credibility so there's a fine line between exposing their lies and publicising them.

In this case, there's no need to challenge Phil's nonsense but a well-placed Rangers.co.uk story about the manager's pre-season plans without mention of any daft rumour would be ample enough to make the fella look as stupid as his blog.

Honestly they don't massively register on my radar. They are fans so obsessed with us, they've only just noticed their own team issues. Let's do our talking on the park.

McGobbledigook doesn't say a word about what was in the conversation TB. He says he got a call from MW who is a "nice guy".

He then goes off at a tangent talking about his own perceived view of MW after the final and his own false detail of MW's wage, bonus and transfer budget.

He then talks about some other manager on holiday.

What he is actually trying to say isn't at all clear.

The point I am making is, if MW called the bigot he should be spoken to about it. If he didn't then someone from the club should be calling the b*st*rd out as a liar.

Why in the world would MW call a no-mark "journalist" of his own volition ? Utter nonsense. MW has a job at hand and that takes up most of his waking hours - so I just cant see any way that he would be calling any journalist - the simple fact is that those involved in the game would rather get on with the job at hand and the media are unwanted evils that they have to engage every now and then. But ill Phil is not a mainstream journalist and most certainly one that I find it incredibly difficult to believe MW actually called.

I could tell you that MW called me and he is a "nice guy". FFS, just watch his pressers and you can tell that he is very respectful to all in attendance and the players he has worked with during his career almost to a man have said they loved working with him. To say he is a nice guy is a fairly easy call to make.

Phil is best ignored, though obviously it is worthwhile keeping tabs on his musings as they can be harmful to the Club and its business reputation.

The morons who swallow/tweet/talk/blog about the likes of McGillivan and Brennan's drivel are a fringe group, within a fringe group in the same way that the ultra loyalists are within the Rangers support. The problem is that sometimes some of their garbage is presented in such a way as to suggest some credibility and Resolution 12 was one such example until of course the luminous collective wit of CQN (Brennan and Co) got their hands on it and embarrassed themselves to the Guardian, C4 and the vast majority of the Scottish "MSM".

Dead in the water now.
