Partick Thistle prog editor - new club

Recommended Posts

Plastic Whistle are a two bob outfit who don't belong in the top flight of Scottish football. They'll get relegated soon hopefully.

So poor they don't have internet access to see the SPFL website which clearly show Rangers history since 1872. Just like many of our detractors.

As much as idiots like this deserve to be ignored, our club need to be tackling this stuff head on to send a message out to others. Insist the grubby publication this was printed in issue an apology next issue, and insist Jags bin this bigot from their employment.

Nothing less is acceptable, and if any employees of any club go down this road, they should know that trouble is about to follow follow them. Bigotry should be opposed in any shape or form. Its not banter, its wholly offensive. This is our club that nearly died here due to fraudulent actions, and instead of sympathy we get non-stop abuse. I doubt any other club could have survived what we did, and we must not allow it to become a mocking topic for jealous bigots.

Of course our club and Club1872 will do nothing, as is our way.

The sniggerfest continues.

They all want to do it, and in particular they want to be seen doing it.

Both the Aberdeen and Hearts fans were laughing like drains on Saturday. The PA announcer at Pittodrie gave the half time scores, then culminated with the full time result, "Dundee one, THEM two". Now, all those Dandy Dons at BBC Scotland sniggered into their hands like naughty schoolboys. If the PA at Ibrox was to refer to any other club as, "THEM", their would be demands for political comment.

Last season, Dundees' Gary Harkins and Darren O'Dea were disrepectful and were duly thrashed 4-zip. Where's Gary these days? The whole thing should be utilised as a motivational tool for the players. Further, we should find a way of turning Big Rheinhart Gordon's constant excuse for not providing Rangers supporters a service by saying, "due to the ongoing problem between Rangers and BBC Scotland".

So just me then that thinks we over-react to this?

I can see from his biog that he's the programme editor and so has some sort of official role, but really, c'mon, he's taking the piss. The very fact that's the game he's looking forward to is surely all the confirmation we need that he's attempting to be humorous.

We need to grow a thicker a skin about this, we're going to get this and the zombie stuff for a few years more, laugh it off, poke fun back, deal with it in a mature way.

dB, if he's a Thistle fan then rest assured he meets bears in real life, he's probably got several in his family, he's highly unlikely to live in some Thistle supporting only ghetto. He's kidding us on, playing on a sore point with our support, making his own fans laugh. Jeez, we react like he's personally stripping titles.

How does writing that make someone a bigot Tb?

Come our next visit to Firhill expect a lot of 'you're not Rangers anymore' because clearly it irks us and opposition fans can see that, best solution is to put five past them and they'll soon realise we're exactly the same Rangers they know and love.

While I hate losing any game, never mind a cup final, it would have been extra great to win the Cup last season, as it would have been added to our overall list of trophies much like the next title will be. And probably embarrassed these trolls even more.

Am I the only one that thinks you've got to be about as sad as it gets to think repeating something as tedious as the new club mantra which is now many years old, is even the slightest bit funny? Sorry, but even if we choose to ignore it for its patheticness, I can't see how we can even slightly credit it with anything like humour.

It's about as funny as someone making a farting noise for about the thousandth time in a row...
