Remember the @Daily_Record story about Rangers fans 'blocking' police vans etc.. IPSO have upheld the complaint into it. Pack of lies.

 

Just noticed this on twitter

 

Id wait CB until we see the reasons behind the ruling - though its a welcome success all the same.

Can the club pursue this any further?? Can the take the rebel to task for printing spurious lies??

 

If proven to be a pack of lies then it is libel. And given there undoubtedly will have been reputational damage to both the club and the fans would give rise to the possibility of legal proceedings against the publication I would think.

Unforunately Craig, there is no money to be made in Scottish courts via libel or slander cases.

That is not to say however that we shouldn't demand a retraction from the so called newspaper.
