I've set links to all rumoured players in the first post, including Bates ;-) Just click his name.

Ah that is the Raith Rovers player that was already with us. It was just I hadn't seen his name mentioned until now. Thanks

Yep. Methinks he only played in the odd friendly game, but no u20 league or cup game. Trained with the first team a lot. Perhaps SDoW saw his potential?

Also from FF ...

Osman speaking on SSN

Says that he is massively flattered at reported interest by Rangers but it was just a rumour and there has been no confirmed interest. Also said he would have jumped at the chance in the summer but he has now been several months without a club and it would be difficult to regain fitness, he is likely to pursue a media career.

Rangers have had an attempt to sign Domingos Quina on loan blocked by West Ham.

The Ibrox side wanted to land the 17-year-old midfielder until the end of the campaign, reports the Daily Mirror.

But the Premier League club have told Rangers they will keep him at the London Stadium as they feel he will be granted first-team opportunities this season.

Mark Warburton has regularly raided the English market, with the Londoner having already signed players on loan such as Arsenal’s Gedion Zelalem and Dominic Ball from Spurs.

Rangers target Jon Toral jets in to Glasgow to complete six-month loan deal with Ibrox club

On Tuesday Warburton captured Emerson Hyndman on a short-term deal after Bournemouth farmed out the midfielder.

The Scottish Premiership giants are also expected to seal a deal for Jon Toral from Arsenal today.

Portugal Under-18s starlet Quina is regarded as one of their top prospects and signed for West Ham last year after turning down interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.

11 days into the window and nothing of note to talk about.

2 uninspiring short-term loan signings who will be away again by the end of this season, meaning we will have to bring in another 10 players this summer, have no time to bed them in ahead of Thursday cup qualifiers that will have a huge impact on our earnings for the 16-17 season.

Still 20 days left but after a third of the time available it is hugely disappointing so far.
