[FT] Partick Thistle 1 - 2 Rangers (Dodoo 81; 94)

Did they say that Doolan had luck that the ball came off Tav's shoulder straight back into his path?

Anyway, we were again quite laborous in the final third, with people still lacking the bravery to shoot rather than pass on or take a step or two more than required. Windass as well as McKay (again) weren't up to their standard and I wonder whether it is useful to play either in games like these, where you need more powerful and dominant characters, e.g. Waghorn, O'Halloran or the like. Same might be said of Holt, but he works so tirelessly and is persistent like hell, that he warrants a starting slot, perhaps besides Halliday in games like this.

Since the mdifield was not delivering, Miller dropped far too deep and too often, so was missing up front. Forrester had his ups and downs, but was a constant thread throughout ... and a touch unlucky with his chances. Dodoo should be given more game time, as he has something special about him and likes to take people on.

So in the end, Dodoo dug us out of a deep hole today, but we have seen games like these dozens of times before, and not just with McCoist, McCall or now Warburton. We have to make sure that we dig out results, no matter the opposition, even if we play badly. that is what wins you tiltes over the course of the season ...

Maybe Dodoo is what you're looking for. When he was lining up for the first I had been screaming for him to shoot on sight but he didn't. He took another step to line it up before letting loose.

We couldnt have complained if it had finished 1-1.

However the penalty decision was f---ing ridiculous. As poor a decision as you will see this season.

The ref should be ashamed of himself--------useless pr--k.

Imagine the screams of conspiracy, 'cheating refs' if that had happened to certain others.

We want Hearts to stumble today. Even if they draw we have a 5 point cushion over them which could become 8 with a win next week.

That's two sentences that seemed a mile off being written after 80 minutes :-)

An absolute disgrace of a decision, seriously!,how can he think it wasn't a penalty?,the refereeing standards in Scotland get worse with each game!,embarrassing!

And isn't it ironic that while everyone agrees we haven't been totally up to scratch we're still in a position to create such cushions. How far out can we be with some consistency and more potency in front of goal.
