geoger64 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 The important thing for me is that we have a settled, fit squad going into the euro qualifiers next season which are really early. Having both these players in the squad rather than not will be an advantage. But of course we already know that given that everyone they look at has a previous link-up or plays within 50 miles of Manchester. We won't be challenging for the title TB. Finances won't allow it, and tying up Miller and hill confirms that. Consolidation of second place(if we manage it this season) and cup runs are all we can realistically hope for next season. JFK-1 1,682 Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 Miller appears likely to carry on his habit of scoring important goals for us and came within millimetres of a double at the weekend that could have secured us a point. As for Hill he really looks like he's relishing this challenge and has indisputably earned another year. I'm content to retain the kind of experience these two guys have for the hurdle of Europa league qualification.
