Nottingham Forest set to appoint Mark Warburton

Recommended Posts

What chance did we have with a manager who went looking for other jobs, instead of watching our next opponents? Very disappointed in Weir. His behaviour is Naismith-esque.

Not usually the vindictive type but I hope they get relegated now. (apologies if anyone on here has a soft spot for Forest lol)

Agree with what you say re the three leaving but don't see what it has to do with Naismith as he was a player with a family to support and nothing to do with coaching or anything else, and he was not only one to go at that time.

It was the way Naismith went about it.

I'm not entirely sure that Warburton & Co's behaviour was significantly better.

Moreover, some aver that their particular tale is not yet, is, indeed, far from, told.

Green was to blame for Naismith, etc leaving. Announcing in the press that they were more or less his slaves and refusing to update anybody on what his plans were for the squad or the club caused discontent. Even when respected figures were trying to contact Green they got nowhere.

None of that excuses the new club remarks at the press conference though.
