Turning shame into success: Rangers v Celtic

Recommended Posts

WIth those two early goals and the third right into our "best phase", they knowcked the stuff out of our team. On top of that, like in the 2-6 game under Advocaat, they clicked as a team, next to everything they attempted hit the mark and they were very much up for it. In many ways similar to the first game at the Scumhut. With the current players, we have to be very up for such a game and essentially need to caught them on an off day. If you look back at these last few months, we are disjointed, lacking imagination, drive and a settled and consistent starting eleven. That is still good enough to get past 10 out of 11 SPFL sides most of the time, but nowhere near good enough to face the Yahoos in their current form.

"next to everything they attempted hit the mark" thankfully not or we'd be looking at an all time record loss. Sinclair missed two sitters just after his penalty.

Your conclusion is irrefutable, however, even on a football forum.

Well, I was not solely pointing at goals above, but also how they continually cut through our midfield and defence with pace and accuracy.

As for Sinclair, you may remember our debate from the game before, where we essentially had 4 great chances to score and missed them, because of inability, bad luck, good defending or whatever is more appropriate for the beholder. Same here. Sinclair et al could have scored but did not. I for one would not exactly put these chances missed down on inability ...
