The Portuguese has begun compiling a dossier on dodgy decisions which he claims have gone against his team this season. Caixinha says that Rangers have already been on the receiving end of too many bad calls from officials and his comments will put the spotlight on Craig Thomson, who will be in charge of the derby against Celtic at Ibrox today. The Rangers manager wants to put to find out whether decisions really do even themselves out over the course of a season. “I am going to do like an account list for and against [with referees],” Caixinha said. “Normally, when things are regular, by the end everything is balanced. I just want to understand and see how things are going to be.”The Ibrox boss was particularly irked by Hibernian’s 3-2 victory at Ibrox earlier in the season when referee John Beaton dismissed Ryan Jack but elected not to show a red card to visiting striker Anthony Stokes during a first-half fracas.“After Hibs… it was really too much,” Caixinha said. The whistler was criticised for several dodgy decisions during the Betfred Cup clash between Rangers and Motherwell. McLean has instead been given responsibility for the Championship clash between St Mirren and Morton. The fixture is still a derby game but it is notable that McLean has been kept away from the top tier this weekend. He failed to punish Motherwell star Ryan Bowman after the striker left Rangers’ Fabio Cardoso with a broken nose. While Bruno Alves was allowed to stay on the park despite kicking out at Louis Moult. Alves has since been handed a two-match ban by the SFA for the offence. McLean will be aiming to keep himself out of the headlines in the Championship this weekend. That is now 2 referees that have now been removed from SPFL duty after refereeing a Rangers game. Says that the SFA know what is happening. How long will they wait now before giving Beaton or McLean another Rangers game? And they certainly can’t give them a high profile game like an old firm for the foreseeable. The standard of refereeing in Scotland is awful. We should not spend a penny in Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness, Edinburgh etc. and buy Rangers TV for viewing those matches. Sell out every match at Ibrox. Pump every penny into Rangers friendly pubs. The power of the blue Pound was demonstrated during the 'journey' when we single handedly secured the survival of the lower tier Scottish teams for years to come. In our absence SPL grounds were empty, including the Peadodome, despite promises of "sell out Saturdays". TV deals were a joke (although they continue to be scandalous in comparison to even the English Championship). Take it back down to the lowest common denominator, adopt a Stalingrad guerrilla mentality, burn all of the crops and start again when the SFA come out with the begging bowl. The problem is, as rangers fans, a week later and we have forgotten all about the disgraceful decisions e.g. Beaton and turn all the blame onto the manager for being 6 points behind in the league. Send off Stokes after 5 minutes, don't send off Jack, and we are probably 3 points closer. All that matters in our life is our standing in the league and as it stands we are well behind our main rivals. For what its worth, in terms of the letter of the law, Alves should have been sent off. That really cannot be disputed. However, if you are going to have trial by television, then Moult retaliated (letter of the law, red card), Bowman led with the elbow (doesn't need to be deliberate or not, it was dangerous play,) straight red all day long. Alves kicked out and it was arguably a red card. 2. Moult did same during the very same incident - in fact his was worse as he kicked Alves on the head. 3. Alves is cited - Moult is not. 4. This suggests Moult was given a yellow card for the kick, not for the tussle with Herrera. 5. This means there's no way any lawyer on earth (even McGlennan) can win this case. There has been numerous bears in agreement with you but we can’t get the collective fortitude to carry it out? You are 100% accurate with your assessment Davie imo. There is no other way. Many of us keep reinforcing the situation we are in. Until others, the majority, realise this is actually happening nothing will change. Every Rangers supporter needs to realise that there is no saviour coming. The only solution is to take radical action and stand up for ourselves. The first step would b a complete boycott of all away matches. Taking all the steps you suggest in your post. We will not win the league and we will not be relegated. I suspect we will still qualify for Europe. We don’t need away fans to do that. Save our money and put it into our club.
