As for Italy they appear to be a side in need of rebuilding. Four of their players retired from international immediately after that game. The guy that took Sweden to the WC is well-regarded, after winning the Allsvenskam with Norrkoping. And the Norwegian (Age Hareide) who manages Denmark has won titles in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
