In one instance I recall him sprinting back quite aggressively -- only for McCrorie to overtake him and clatter the Aberdeen player... legally. If we can make space for him, then he'll do a job in and around the box; that's where he is most dangerous. His build-up play can be quite good, but paradoxically also very bad. 5 goals in 10 games speaks for itself. The incident of Pena tracking back to catch the Aberdeen player was enjoyable to see but that's the minimum we should be expecting from our players. You can tell he's not the quickest but perhaps his brain makes up that yard when he has the ball. There were enough people on here who have season tickets who were either not going to the game or were considering giving it a miss. I put on my warmest scarf (mountain warehouse job!) and braved the elements in the end. It wasn’t too bad actually. There was a Saturday afternoon last season that was just obscene.
