  • Frankie changed the title to [FT] Hamilton 3 - 5 Rangers (Murphy 10; Windass 19, 34, 72; Morelos 27)

Well, it's job done and some of the goals were excellent but we were far too slack and open at times which better teams would punish IMO.

It seems silly to be complaining after scoring five goals and generally dominating but when you can see how good we can be it's a shame an occasional lack of application and poor decision-making spoils the good work we often do.

This team are capable of a lot but we need to cut out the unforced errors.

It is a pen though hand up and changed direction of the ball. Would have made its way towards goal or across the box

Theres no question that the ball hits his hand. However the man is sliding along the ground attempting to block the cross along the ground with his boot. The Hamilton player lifts the ball at waist hight directly at Martins torso from a yard away from him. Martins arm isn't in an unnatural position when the ball hits it nor would it have been if he'd been standing either. They would have been calling for a pen anyway. You cant just hit the ball off someone then claim a pen. If you can then do it every time!

I'd still point to this awefull surface again. It looks like Killie and Accies build their sides each season to see who performs best at this "up-and-at-them" and "see-where-it-bounces" pitches and hope for the best away from home. I'm glad no-one got injured on either ground.
