Gribz 743 Posted June 24, 2006 Share Posted June 24, 2006 at the moment because of erikssons balls up of not taking enough strikers, yes 4/5/1 is probably the strogest tactic. but, if he had`ve made the correct squad selection we`d have played a strong diamond shaped 4/4/2. Yeah Lampard isnt firing on all cylinders just now and Gerrard is on top of his game. But i can see that changing today with Carrick playing in the holding role. I honestly think we'll see a different England today to the first 3 games (where they were boring and average).
