We have Morelos and sadij for CF, windass and Kent for FR and Murphy and Middleton for FL. Plus kent can play both sides and windass through the middle. That's two per position. Only way I see another forward signing is if we are getting rid of someone.

Think it's mostly wishful thinking from fans tbh, Gerrard has been pretty precise in his plans.

That won't be enough.

When SG talked about a serious lack of quality in the final third after the game in Macedonia, surely he did so with the full intention of aggressing the issue before the transfer window closed.

Sadiq and Kent offer options but by hook, crook or the loan market, we need a splash of quality.

He also said "it was a very fine margin. Watching the game we were very close to scoring four or five at home and another couple away".

He also went on to say we have quality in the final third already in the squad.  Many times he has also mentioned the fact we were top goal scorers last year, so it's hard to say it won't be enough all of a sudden. Though I do agree, just don't think Allen or Gerrard do.

We will definitely be bringing in another CB after that I think it will just be one in one out. Doesn't seem to me he wants to sell windass or that any bids are incoming.

We have spent £6.5m already not including loan fees and the other costs. Another expected £2m - £3m on a third CB if all the latest info is true. Guessing they will keep some money for January. That's best part of £10m. To bring in a forward too.....

Not one of them is a prolific scorer.  Definitely won’t be enough IMO.  Gerrard’s comments after last week’s game suggest likewise

According to The Express, Steven Gerrard’s Rangers are eyeing a move for Bolton Wanderers defender, Mark Beevers.

The article from The Express states:

“Rangers are eyeing a move for Bolton defender Mark Beevers.

The Light Blues sent a scout down south to watch the 28-year-old centre-half in action during last weekend’s friendly against Girona, which finished goalless.

Beevers is in the final year of his contract and would be a much cheaper option than Millwall defender Jake Cooper, who was the subject of a failed £3million bid from Rangers last week.

Championship club Bolton are aware of the interest in Beevers, who has a wealth of experience after racking up more than 100 appearances for both Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard has bolstered his backline with the signings of Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic but remains in the hunt for a left-sided centre-half.”

Since his move to The Macron two years ago, Beevers, 28, has scored eight times for Wanderers in 98 appearances. He’s been virtually ever present as Bolton gained promotion to The Championship in 2017 & stayed up last season.

Whilst Marc Wilson is looking likely to sign alongside trialist Jack Hobbs, selling Beevers would leave Bolton lacking at centre back. Can Wanderers afford to let him go?

Would Beevers be interested in the prospect of playing for Steven Gerrard? Who knows.

What sort of bid would you sell Mark Beevers for? Let us know in the comments box below.

If true it would indicate a re-allocating of the remaining budget to the frontline, which I think most would support. I’m still skeptical of Katic as a starter though.

Time to combine the transfer strategies of previous regimes. Go McCoist by bolstering the attack with Kris Boyd, go Warburton by announcing this Beever chap who's proven at League 1 level and combine Gerrard with Advocaat by snapping up Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson on a 5 year EBT.
