The first half was affected by the ridiculous refereeing. We were great up to that point.

We were on top but what our problem is, is that the team is fragile and doesn't react well to adversity. We knew that and it was fairly predictable what would happen once Aberdeen scored.

 

However, we managed to get back into it for three main reasons.

 

1. The words of Jimmy Nicholl

2. The drive of Ross McCrorie

3. The fragility of Aberdeen

After we went a goal down we started to feel sorry for ourselves due to the circumstances of the penalty award.  We had no leader on the park to boot us up the backside and overcome the setback, we had to wait until half time.  Says a lot about the mentality of the team.  

 

That said we were the better team.  Doubt they would score without that penalty award.

Last night was an embarrassing advert for Scottish football. Two absolutely woeful sides with Ross McCrorie looking like the only decent player on the pitch. A fight at the top end of the table for second place that looked more like an English conference relegation battle.

Imo we certainly improved in the second half. I'd have to agree in some way with SBS above and was impressed by McCrorie who I haven't seen too much of before.

The referee was a disgrace. But then, what's new ?

How many points is that this season we have been robbed of by referees? 

 

It is ridiculous.

 

I know we were poor but, again, the referee has directly lost us points (and gained for a rival) by making ‘poor’ decisions.
