Our midfield in the next match

Who do we have to play in midfield in the next match?

Goss, Holt, Rossiter and possibly Halliday by my reckoning.

Anybody else available?

We're struggling in midfield with Windass, Dorans, McCrorie etc either injured or suspended and Morelos also suspended opens up a place. I would go with Alnwick, Bates, Alves and Martin in defence a midfield of Holt, Docherty and one from Rossiter or Goss as a 3-5-2 with Halliday and Tav also as part of the 5 packing the midfield possibly using Murphy as a false 10 with Cummings as a striker. But the chances are we'll go 4-2-3-1 as per usual with Alnwick, Tav, Bates Martin and Halliday. a Midfield 2 of Holt, Docherty with Murphy, Goss, Candieas and Cummings up front.

So!

After Hibs’ loss to Hearts, Rangers all but secured their European place thanks to their superior goal difference.

Only an unlikely defeat of six goals or more at Easter Road on Sunday would see Gers finish the season fourth.

Jimmy Nicholl’s side will secure second if Aberdeen lose to Celtic and they take a point at Easter Road.

Aberdeen are guaranteed a place in the Europa League qualifiers with one game to play.

A win on the final day at Celtic will guarantee the Dons second spot.

However they could slip to third if they lose at Parkhead and Rangers get at least a point at Easter Road.

If the Dons lost at Parkhead, a Rangers draw against Hibs on Sunday would see the pair finish on 70 points – with the Reds dropping to third on goal difference.

Hibs look almost certain to finish fourth after losing the final Edinburgh derby of the season.

Only a win of six goals or more against Rangers at Easter Road on Sunday would see Neil Lennon’s side finish above the Ibrox side on goal difference.

Aberdeen are guaranteed a place in the Europa League qualifiers with one game to play.

Should Hibs fail to turn around the massive goal difference on the final day against Rangers, they would need Celtic to beat Motherwell in the Scottish Cup Final to secure a place in Europe.

I might even smile if that happens.

Cummings to score the winner, the sheep draw at the piggery & Motherwell to win the Scottish cup, perfect!

True, but I’ve little hope of Celtic taking a point against Aberdeen. The only only planning Rodgers is doing just now involves Thomas Cook, McInnes on the other hand will be a man on a mission.
