By keeping our enemies in money the constant attacks are costing the club more than we get from away tickets. Going to away games means more to the individual than the club, any financial loss can be offset easy enough by loyal fans. Then again I’m 43 and I doubt my attitude would have been the same twenty years ago. Having said that I’m still on the CCC and go to the odd away game. But that doesn't mean that fewer fans going to fewer away games wouldn't still send a powerful message. The point being that we shouldn't stop promoting the idea that, while going to away games is actively supporting our team, it is also giving succour to those who have and will continue to do us down.
