Jamie Murphy signs permanently?

Spending almost £2m on an almost 29 year old whose made a very limited contribution makes no business sense at all. That is a huge sum to us and should be spent on a younger player we can develop.

Back in January I would happily have paid £2 million for anyone to ensure that Windass didn't have to play on the left.

There might well be a better alternative though.

I'm not sure we have seen £2 million of value from Murphy.

I barely notice Murphy's even playing most of the time. If he was free maybe he'd be worth a punt.

To be fair though, one of our players could score 10 own goals and you would be blaming it on the ref.

People incapable of any objectivity have nothing to offer a discussion,.

Waw That is a cracker coming from you. That must be post of the day.:D

Murphy, like most of the team this season, has been inconsistent.

I must admit when he's in free flow, he's a good player to watch, a great dribbler and can create and score goals.  Unfortunately, he can also go missing during some games and sometimes his decision-making his poor on the ball.

Depending on the cost, I'd be happy to take him.
