Harry Davis has died

Recommended Posts

I’ve said it before. The only man who could have strengthened the Iron Curtain.

Scorer of a thunderbolt goal in November glaur and mirk at Ibrox to make it  2-2  after championship contenders,Hearts, had  led 0-2. (Johnny Hubbard scored the first goal in a 5-3 victory.

Make sure you read his book.

My old man loved Harold, and like Davis served in Korea.

Harold was correctly labeled 'iron man'. He was caught in a burst of light machine gun fire whilst withdrawing into a trench, hit three times, including a gut wound. It was amazing he survived, to go on and have a successful career as a professional footballer was near miraculous.

I would fully recommend his autobiography, a humble man who loved being a Ranger.

Wasn't there a thread about Harry Davis a couple of years ago? I remember recounting a story about him. Zappa was still around then. I thought that thread marked his passing ??
