I would have started Sadiq and given Morelos a rest........

Wont be an easy game

I don't think the mgmt. team fully trust Sadiq and it shows why we desperately need another forward in prior to the first leg against Ufa.

Far from easy, agreed !

A few surprises there ... though I guess it won't be 4-3-3 as the HP intimates.

Foderingham

Tavernier - Goldson - Katić - Bariŝić

Arfield - Halliday

Kent - Ejaria - Murphy

Morelos

Subs: Alnwick, Flannigan, McCrorie, Jack, Candeias, Middleton, Sadiq

You would hope that Middleton gets another chance to shine ... and we withdraw Morelos soonish, as we may need him sharp on Thursday.

This proves that we're still lacking strength in depth all over the park.

No central defenders on the bench, a barely fit striker as back up for Morelos and Halliday starting.

'Mon The Rangers!

  • Frankie changed the title to [Pre-match] Kilmarnock v Rangers

A very interesting team.  Perhaps a bit lightweight in midfield but clearly we're looking to go down the flanks given Killie are strong centrally themselves with the effect of possibly to negate Jordan Jones at the same time.

A tricky tie ahead but good options on the bench if we do need to change things.
