All countries currently in the EU will need to adopt the Euro at an agreed future date once they meet the fiscal & economic requirements.

The only remaining country exempt is Denmark

If anyone wanted to understand why we're voiceless and powerless in our own city a read of this thread is instructive. What started as frustration around a fanzone has morphed into angry white men yelling 'brexit' into the void whilst dreaming of rimming Boris Johnston. No wonder Tims run rings round us politically.

I voted to leave the EU and can't stand Boris Johnston btw.  Mind you, I don't recall him groping staff or setting up a crowd-funding page, so maybe he's not all bad.

Celtc minded people decided to make a beeline for public office a few decades ago and have been rather successful.  Rangers fans tend to be less focused in such matters and this is quite apparent wherever you look in politics and the press.

 

All we can do is encourage the next generation of Bears to educate themselves, get more involved and to continually pull them (yahoos in public office) up when they demonstrate their agenda.
