Referee is allowing Villarreal off with murder though, constant fouls.

A bit harsh but not that harsh, he followed through deliberately on the player after a foul hadn’t been given our way.

He did nothing wrong.  Morelos made the foul.

 

After a decent start, the referee has been an utter joke and has lost the plot.

 

Unfortunately, XI men or not, we're not playing well enough and should really be behind.  However, we have had a couple of chances ourselves so let's not give up yet.

It was never, ever a yellow card for Candeias.

 

Given what else has happened in the game the referee is having a shocker.

He does, even in the end the yellowed chap who clearly holds Morelos ...

 

And of course, neither yellow against Candeias was actually a yellow. We do get some freaks in black/yellow/pink all over the place, whether from the specsavers brigade or in Europe.

 

We were holding our own, had chances, as the Spaniards started to revert to fight rather than guile. Now it will be an uphill struggle.
