Quite happy with that starting lineup. Should be solid with the two defensive mids and that will hopefully give us the platform to keep a clean sheet and nick a goal.

For some strange reason I am confident we can get at least a draw tonight and even more confident we can go and win in Vienna.

 

It's amazing what 12-15 months will do to your confidence.  Regardless of result, Steven Gerrard, his backroom staff, Mark Allen and indeed the Board have done a very impressive job in a very short space of time in getting us back to being confident of winning games.  The player and their attitude have to also take a lot of credit.

 

Even though we have won nothing, the light at the end of a very long and dark tunnel appears to be getting brighter - for this Rangers fan at least....

I would say that about us in every match, we are a far better side when we play on the front foot.
