I've already tried to explain that to Craig!.

Regardless of what you or I think SG will pick the team, thankfully. I think Halliday is our 1st choice LB at this present time, you don't, fair enough.

No idea why people are getting their knickers in a twist over Halliday/ Barasic? we all have different views/opinions on players, as it has always been and should always be!.

We won tonight, now move on to Saturday.

I think Halliday has been a changed man this season. His performances overall at LB have never been less than 6/7 out of ten imo. He has been solid, reassured and comfortable in the position. He also has a relationship with the other defenders now.

 

Arguably he has been one of the most consistent performers this season, always delivering when required. Barasic is no doubt a quality player but personally I would be giving the jersey to Halliday until there is a reason not to?

I have full trust when Halliday plays at left back and if the boss picks him then great. I don't think he is near good enough now for the midfield. If Halliday keeps up his sharpshooting from 20+ yards then it will be difficult to drop him.

Before the celtc game people were screaming for halliday to play instead of flannigan. Absolutely screaming for it
