If you don't think of him as a first choice and put in 12 as the true number 4, it looks like our "preferred" starting line up using traditional positions for 4-4-2 is: .................MacGregor ......Hutton Ehiogu Papac Wier Hemdani Ferguson Thomson Adam .............. Gribz 743 Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 Im superstitous with numbers or maybe old fashioned but a number 6 should be a centre half. I think Ferguson should wear 8 and Buffel should have a number in the double figures. Thomson should wear 4.
