Wife took the two great grandchildren to the shop in Glasgow's city centre and was told they haven't had the new kit for the past fortnight they are still selling the Hummel kit .

I'm not sure that's a good place to get them.

Best to go to the stadium.

This fellow doesn't mention the quality.

Which one is supposed to be bad and why?

Big thread on FF:

Pathetic Quality On Castore's RFC Range

Purchased this on Friday:

RFC COTTON LS TEE - NAVY/WHITE; RFC COTTON SWEATER - NAVY/WHITE; RFC COTTON HOODY - NAVY/WHITE.

I was £160 for that lot.
However, I’ve just received them, and I'm disgusted with the lack of quality.

On the sweater, the Castore words are missing letters and the Castore logo isn't straight.
The RFC crest is also miles off being straight.

The t-shirt and hoodie are OK on this front, but the quality in general leaves a lot to be desired.

Are normal Castore items made in India like this cheap shit?
And when I say cheap shit, I mean the quality – not the prices, which are anything but cheap.

I'm so disgusted with the poor quality of the sweater that I'm returning all three.

I've got the home and away shirt, but these will be my last Castore purchases unless the item is embroidered.

Gutted not to be able to support my club.

From what I've read, Castore have had the shirts made in Turkey and China and the sizing and quality is different (the Chinese ones are better quality).

They have now released a statement, which looks to be a bit of a fib about what has gone on.

If you have received a Turkish top and aren't happy with it, I'd suggest asking for a refund or a Chinese replacement.

This all makes me glad I don't wear football garments.  £60 for a nylon t-shirt seems bonkers to me.

Good point.

I wouldn't want to discourage someone from buying a Rangers top.  But it is odd how the ability to critique is boosted by orders of magnitude after buying one.

I know guys who have bought the home and away top and the quality, sizing and location of manufacture is different on them.

That's unacceptable and Castore need to explain to the support what's actually going on.

As far as I am aware the Rangers shop in the town,if it the one in St.Enoch's Square is not an outlet for the new stuff and should be avoided.
