Club 1872 funding | Club 1872 purchase more shares

Re Covid and financial shortfalls ... I would assume the Board trusts SG and his team so much, that they are willing to plug the holes one way or another for the time being, with the clear aim of reaching the CL group stages ASAP. And should that come to pass, a single season there may very well safeguard our finances for a season or more.

Is that a strategy that a 25% shareholding Club1872 would endorse?

I would assume it is one that the Rangers Board would look at as a (not the only)  prime source of major income. Achieving income via a share issue is another, whereas getting 25+ % is on the same wavelengths*, but will - for obvious reasons - not deliver massive income / financial stability as CL/EL prize would. Looking objectively at it.

*BTW, why do you come up with the main strategy of getting 25 % of the sharehold and thus a future safeguarding of the club in relation to short term goals such as the important participation in Europe? I think most of us will agree that Club 1872`s investment, outside the King share deal, is not exactly of a scale that will e.g. impact our transfer deals, which will eventually insure success on the park?

nobody joining me putting hard cash into the club.

Two season tickets, two MyGers memberships, about £400 so far in merchandise, one gifted annual RTV subscription. And I know exactly where the money went.

Your point is what exactly?

not the most efficient way to put cash in currently available but good effort.

seems to be a lot of complaining about cash not going to the club and little availing of the opportunity to put in hard cash with maximum effect.

“Maximum” being a purely subjective measure. An opinion perhaps.
