[FT] Union SG 2 - 0 Rangers

Kent is out so it will be interesting to see how we line up. Matondo could directly replace him, or Tillman with Lawrence moving left if Matondo isn’t quite ready. There’s also Sakala if GVB really wants pace, though very unlikely.

Do we think Kent is injured or perhaps a bid is imminent?

Didnt see any injury on Saturday.

He pulled up late on on Saturday.  Looked like he went over on his ankle.

Hopefully nothing too serious.

Kent not making it is a huge blow. Who will play left side now? Lawrence? Sakala?

Rabbi Matondo of course.

He spent almost his entire loan to Circle Brugge playing LW.

He should slide in there no problem...plenty of practice.

Easy peasy.

Most like Matondo (if fit) on the left, Tillman central and Lawrence on the right but I'm sure any combination of those three could work or Wright may retain his starting spot also.

Very early in the season but injuries are already becoming a real issue.

Goalkeeper, toss a coin.

Central defence will probably be Goldson and Sands, relatively new pairing.

It will be interesting to see if Ryan Jack starts, this type of game calls for his tactical positional sense.

Middle to front will probably be mostly the new lads.

Not particularly confident.

Can only hope that USG are relatively undercooked as well.

A lot of teams start the season with several new players, having lost regulars - that includes tonight's opponents.

Injury/fitness wise, the biggest misses are Kent and Morelos but we have a big enough squad to do it without them.  Matondo has already shown what a handful he can be and Colak has looked sharp.
