[FT] Rangers 2 (Colak 40; Lawrence 70) - 2 PSV Eindhoven

It will be very hard game. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves on or has inhaled a tube of glue for their breakfast. We will never be at a stage when we will consider these games to be anything but hard. That being said, we have recently established a proud record of giving teams of this level a very uncomfortable evening at Ibrox. I just hope we leave the pitch tonight having given ourselves a chance to progress in a week's time. The omission of the away goals rule means come what may, teams are always in the tie (if it's tight)

One thing that’s clear about PSV though is that, like Dortmund, they concede plenty goals. With any luck, they are the type of team we have learned to exploit in Europe.

The first leg being at Ibrox could be a blessing in disguise too as it gives Kent another week to be up and running for the away game, which is where he is most valuable for me. You could say the same for Matondo to a lesser extent who is still getting up to speed.

If we win tonight, we'll become the first team to beat a PSV side playing a competitive away fixture in 2022.

They have lost 3 at home this calendar year.

It really is a huge week ahead - two CL play-offs either side of a tough domestic away fixture.

This is what it's all about though.

Forgot it was the spoon burners on Saturday. Its been overshadowed slightly but still a massive game when it arrives
