[FT] Rangers 4 (Lundstram 24'; Colak 39', 58'; Davis 80') - 0 Ross County

A stroll in the park for The Famous, yesterday. Four and should have had more. A clean sheet,  and no significant butcher's bill, either, as far as I know. All good, then.

The 'first' yellow for Sands by the referee was preposterous, and should never have been given.

The 'second' was a clear booking, and wasn't given. These things even themselves out, I am told.

The Ross Co right back should have received a second yellow for a second bad tackle on Kent. These things even themselves out......

Rangers' could have had a penalty, perhaps should have, perhaps two. These things even themselves out...

The referee and assistants missed the elbow into the face of Sands, which defies understanding.

I await the Compliance Officer intervening to even that mistake out, which, of course, it won't. Retrospective action is, well, retrospective, and can't affect the match in which the unnoticed, or ignored, infraction occurred.

(Morelos would have got two reds for that incident-one for the act, one for his malice aforethought, since you ask- and a ban long enough to ensure his non participation when, inevitably, Colak is deliberately sidelined by some kick boxing enthusiast masquerading as a professional footballer.)

The narrative for next weekend's clash at Victimhood Central is now set, and the officials will be put under sustained, and not necessarily subtle, pressure in/by the media, in the lead up. Situation normal, all stitched up.

'Red card for any Rangers' player' might look like a bet.

It's the Aberdeen game we have to watch they will be lumping in the tackles

They would delight in handing us a Pyrrhic victory, where Rangers wins, but has players crocked, more than if they won themselves, but the officials, as usual, will be well on top of any agricutural play.

Sands should definitely have been off.

I don't think the elbow in his face was worthy of a card.  The Ross County player was looking the other way and there was no intent.

The officials in Scotland are flippin' useless.
