I know but that doesn't allow me to make such an exaggerated, withering post. :D

(They're competing, which is my point.)

Now 2-1 to Croatia  - Canada not competing so well now 😉

And having had lived in Canada for a time, I wanted them to do well (which they have to an extent).

They are competing.

(I want them to lose - I've got 2-1 to Croatia in the GPL...)

They look like conceding every time Croatia cross the halfway line. However Canada still carrying a threat but can see them losing heavily.

Croatia's quality has certainly shown more as the half went on but I think they've done well.

No more goals, please!

We pumped Dortmund and Liepzig, and took Frankfurt to a penalty shoot-out. All three are CL teams.

We should be competing.

That doesn't mean win - our group was very tough, but the capitulations were embarrassing. GvB is at fault.

None of those three are in the same league as Liverpool & Napoli

No, they are not, but I'm not expecting us to beat them, just put up a fight. We're more than capable.

But there are times when you have to hold up ur hands and accept what you’ve got at ur disposal simply isn’t good enough for what ur up against as we found out
