It's like the world stands still for two weeks several times a year and millions of football fans have to feign interest in games they'd rather weren't happening at all. Probably their first decent away win of note since they beat Spain a few years back, unsure if that was competitive or not. Impressive for 20-30 then did okay against an Italy side that looks like its on the wane, even if their home record in euro qualifiers is outstanding and England's record in Italy is 'pish'. To be honest until England start winning games like this away from home regularly they won't have actually turned a corner and I'll view them as the flat track bullies they are under Southgate (and previous).
