Maybe Butland will help the whole defence operate better.  McGregor was a shot-stopper but never good at commanding the penalty area.

That said, Beale's team was scoring fairly healthily when he came in through end of season - we need to be much more solid at the back and be far more stingy with goals conceded.  in the invincibles season we knew if we scored one goal we were likely to win the game - last season and season before we knew we would need at least two to win games....

Where are those cool days when a 10 was just the second of two main strikers ... 😭

Next season's Tillman, without a "possible-buy and buy-back and if-he-turns-out-cool-revoke-all-the-rest" - clause. His stats say right-sided forward and are not that bad, remains to be seen whether he's starter though. You really hope that a fit Hagi, Lawrence, Roofe, and even Lowry are all included in Beale's vision of a brutally attack-minded Rangers side.

Hopefully we have learnt from the Tillman saga and even if there might be an option to buy - don't tell the world about it. Can always get him back on loan to try and retain the title the season after

By the time he's had a year here, he's only a year left on his contract, so hopefully should we wish to explore buying, Brighton may not be too hard to deal with. 🤞🏼
