In a back three their priority would not be defending; effectively they would be free to do what they do best. Two of our 3 centre backs should be able to cover when they are up the field. At time of writing doesn't look like Beale is thinking of moving them on.

See all this needing to get rid of Barisic stuff - are we just conveniently forgetting that he was one of our best players last season ?  Are we conveniently forgetting that he is pretty much the only competition we have for the largely untested Yilmaz ?
