It is no fault of the team or players that the Hearts keeper had some outstanding saves or scoreline would have been correctly shown IMO.

I’m sure you’re right MacK. It sometimes seems every ‘keeper in the league pulls off wonder saves against Rangers

Biggest takeaway from tonight and the last few weeks is that we have done some good business in the transfer market with Cantwell and Raskin. For me, they are the first signings that have had an impact on the first XI in ages.

I would include Lawrence here, as well as shifting Sakala to the wing-attack slot and play him constantly.

They both have been very good signings.  Have to say too though that Ridvan is proving me wrong with each passing game - I didnt think he would cut it but he has been very good last couple of games too

Lawrence aye.  Sakala is a horrific footballer.

In the first half yesterday, Sakala turned in what must be a contender for the worst personal performance of the season. He was a little improved after half time but it's hard to see him as the answer to anything. However, he's one of those players who attracts emotional commitment from fans and will no doubt continue to be forgiven.

Forgiven for what ? I realise wee Fashion is far from a highly skilled consistant winger, but looking at these league stats he does better than average.
Fashion - 10 goals, 7 assits in 28 games
Morelos - 11 goals, 5 assits in 32 games
Kent - 3 goals, 8 assits in 29 games
Wright - 0 goals, 1 assits in 23 games

I think those figures only stand comparison because you put them beside even worse stats. If Sakala was half the player he should be, he would have had twice as many goals and assists. Seldom seen anyone make more bad decisions and miss more clearcut chances.

That's interesting. I thought he was poor last night and his crossing is surprisingly bad for a specialist full back. A bit like Sakala he works hard but I'm not convinced by him yet. Still early days in terms of playing time of course.
