Not exactly, but it's something like it. Yfeko is definting staying deeper to create a rough back-three. Lundstram is the #6. Matondo and Sterling are wide, with Dowell and Cifuentes behind the two strikers.

Roughly a 3-1-4-2. Very rough.

What are you seeing?

A back-4 with Sterling and Yfeko very much the fullbacks we know from days of old, Stuart Munro springs to mind. every now and then, they get forward, but not much. Lundstram and Cifuentes are the "central" midfielders, Matondo the left winger, no-one on the right, Lammers and Dessers the centre fowards and Dowell sort of roving about like Laudrup, but with little effect. In short, a 4-4-2 with no true right winger, but a AM who moves about.

We can easily take off Yefko, go to a true 3 at the back with Sterling, Goldson, and Balogun, and bring on Sima for the right-wing role.

Feckless tripe again. Maybe now Beale will consider the team he should have sent out in the first place.

He seems to be adopting a sink-or-swim approach to his new signings. Unfortunately they mainly seem to be sinking out of sight at the moment. It's touching that he thought Lammers, Tamundo and Dessers were the solution for this game ... and that we needed Cifu AND Lundstram instead of some creativity in midfield.

We could lose this game if the manager persists with this nonsense.

It's a back-four on paper, definitely, but Yfeko is staying back, while Sterling is much higher. Cifiuentes is central, but he's a little further forward than Lundstram. Dowell is central too, but the majority of the time he's in the left half-space.

We're not far apart, there.

However, Matondo is playing on the left, bud...
