I like that MB is trying something different, here, in terms of structure. It looks like a 3-1-4-2, a la Nagelsmann's Hoffenheim. It's great to see. 

 

I still think it's our principles that are letting us down: we're not moving, we're not firing the ball into feet, we're not linking up. 

 

Without those principles, the structure is pointless.

Early days, but IMHO, Devine showed up better than Sterling and Yfeko so far. There's nothing from Dowell that suggest he's a starter. And Morton aren't exactly over-stretching themselves.

Partly, you're correct, but the ball is fired so far above everyone that nothing would come of it even if they did anticipate.
