We should have scored 1 more goal. Under-performing.

We're conceding pretty much what we are expected to. Over-performimg slightly.

1 more goal in 5 games - the one we should have gotten against Celtic 😜

All-in-all we are performing to what xG would expect.

We are, but it's not good.

We're only expected to score 1 more goal than our opponents, on average per game.

And these - outwith Celtic - are the easy games!

To be fair 2.21 xga in 5 games is pretty impressive no? I thought we've been pretty good defensively this season and that pretty much backs it up. Wouldn't that track for sub 20 goals against over 38 games?

I've always said we score enough, if we do hit sub 20 goals against and hit a similar amount of goals for as last season then I think we could win the league. Gives me confidence at least.

But if we scored 1 more goal than our opponents we'd go on and have a very successful season- no?
