Teams, will pack the defence and crowd, that one guy out. If we insist on one forward he needs to be the complete package. Hold it, turn it, strike it he needs to and be supported with two fast/strong wingers/inside forwards. I'm getting the feeling that the players are either not understanding what Beale wants, or they are(and following his plan, to the letter) and the rest of Scottish football can see it a mile coming. Now a good coach/manager, will know when that happens, it's time to react and change/try something new. Not the main issue. I don't think they're bad players, but the way they're used just doesn't make the most of them - I keep saying Lammers is wasted as a #10. Whether that's enough to win the league, I don't know. You can't coach speed. That's why Hagi's ass is down in Spain. I think it's been more about his touch and final product. Both of which have been heavy, off. I mean, let's face it, that dude ain't ever been 'fast' but has managed to score in the past. I think a new staff, maybe some new angles and he will hit a stretch.
