So who is your choice?

It's going to be a gamble whoever we appoint. There is no safe bet.

I thought Gio was a good choice (I was more confident than when we appointed Gerrard). I thought appointing PLG was a masterstroke.

It's a roll of the dice I'm afraid, and I wouldn't like it to be my call.

Do note: this suggestion is for you, not for me.

There’s an argument that your last dram should be a decent one but no, you’re probably right. If the next thing you swallow is a bullet, a Balvenie would be a waste of money.

Fuck it I'll answer: out of Lampard and McInnes I'd probably go McInnes - with the proviso that it's until the end of the season and Davis stays on his staff.

Lampard is an average manager who's done fuck all to warrant the jobs he's got, imo.

The only reason I'd have McInnes is because he has a bank of good work in the league (imo) we're in and knows the club and it's expectations.

I'd still be devastated if McInnes was appointed mind.

Condemned from your own mouth, sir, on two counts.

A poor day for a hingin', but we can't have everything.

Take him down, lads.

JW Black is really quite aceptable (the world over), is readily available, and its supply, in the circumstances, obviates any time wasting debate.
