I'll go for the young lad McCausland

I went for young McCausland.  He was probably the best individual.  Yesterday was a comfortable team performance but it was obvious we were tired so there were no real outstanding performances.

I felt Goldson, Lawrence and McCausland were our best players yesterday - happy to give it to the young lad for being so direct and dangerous for most of the first half.

McCausland for me. Great finish to what should have been his first senior goal and his direct running and passing is refreshing.

Between Dessers, Lawrence and McCausland so given it to the young lad. Well deserved.

Went for McCausland - looked lively and proactive in the final third throughout and the game suffered a bit when he came off. Robbed of a goal too.

 

Lawrence the other contender for me, for his first start in over a year that was a pretty decent performance.

Having finally watched the game c/o RTV, I would love to vote for McCausland but it would sentimentally rather than merit, although he certainly did himself proud on his first start. Personally though, I thought Goldson, Lawrence and Jack were the pick of the bunch, even though there were no real standouts.
