[FT] Hearts 0 - 1 Rangers (Sima 34')

Recommended Posts

Thank the heavens for Butland, who essentially kept us getting these three points (again). Can't, for the love of the game, understand, why we keep to this lone striker thing that failed us time and again. Saviour this season so far is Sima, but what happens if he's injured ...

Difficult ground, three points, clean sheet, grab and run!

FFS. Watched the first 70 mins and then had to suffer commentary in the car from BBC Sco...sorry...Hearts FM. Liam Mcleod was basically willing Hearts to score.

Good result. Performance could be miles better. If we actually had a striker it should be 4-0. Positives from the 70 minutes I watched. Ridvan was good. McCausland was good. Lundstram good. Cifuentes good. Oh another clean sheet.

Is Sima a better option through the middle?

A tough watch at times. I thought we were going to regret the missed chances. Other than Sima we have no one up front who looks capable of getting a decent amount of goals over the course of the season. Unless that get sorted we won’t win the league

According to Brighton he is a striker! they signed him as a striker. I would play him as a striker.

Agree, with Matondo on the left and McCausland on the right, Sima playing central striker, we should be better equipped to put chances away. Danilo, Lammers and Dessers can be a thing of the past.

Jeezo we love to make things difficult for ourselves. We should have won that 4-5 nil.

PS Shankland in January? Nawwwww! Not good enough for us. Never has been and never will be

For once, we negated the threat of Shankland and that's down to Goldson and more importantly, Balogun
