I’m still confident sterling can step up and fill the spaces needed, quality player especially when you see him read the game, reminds me of a young Michael Essien especially his time at Chelsea.

I think given the names I've seen now, my wishlist by the end of this month would be:

Bulat
Doig 
Manhoef

Obviously a striker as well but there is no standout value for money candidate so far.

 

Highly unlikley I know but.... It would represent a really really good January

For context, Verona have sold two of their best defenders this window.

 

And are currently in the relegation spots in the league, only one point off next place Caligari, but Caligari are not selling their best players.
