By all accounts there will be no limits come the summer in fairness.

Hopefully, its a stupid rule and just led to the elite clubs hoovering up all the young talent. That's why the likes of Man U and Wolves spent funny money on guys like Ahmad Diallo and Fabio Silva. When you watch them first hand its impossible to see that value ability wise, but then the clubs aren't just paying for ability.

Man City will also sell young players who become 'home grown' eligible if not first team ready as they never lose it and they can always buy them back in future.

It also handicaps us big time, Scottish players are generally a lower standard so a forced inclusion of them puts us at a detriment compared to similar market level clubs IE Porto,  PSV, Brugge etc

Shankland would be considered home grown right?

We dont need to bother about homegrown anymore , the EU deemed these illegal at the last set of hearings , as far as Im aware its gone. Royal Antwerp appealed to the EU court of justice and its going through just now.

Say what you want, but Tillman has turned out to be quite an impressive bit of business for somebody who was essentially just a loan signing...
