But there's something to be said for the club being shit scared of losing his 'brand' (idk how else to put it). They want to milk his goal scoring record for everything it's worth. They're not stupid enough to not know that he's probably the only player post 2012 that's in with a sniff of getting into teams before then. And they don't want to lose that.
